100,000 worshippers perform Friday prayers at Al-Aqsa Mosque after its reopening

The Palestinian news agency WAFA reported that 100,000 worshippers performed Friday prayers today at the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound.
The Islamic Waqf Department in Jerusalem stated that "100,000 worshippers performed Friday prayers at the Al-Aqsa Mosque, after it had been closed for five weeks by order of the Israeli occupation authorities."
It is worth noting that since its reopening at dawn yesterday, the Al-Aqsa Mosque has witnessed an influx of thousands of worshippers from the Jerusalem Governorate and from within the 1948 territories, according to the agency.
