Cowell: Sustainable peace in Middle East needs ceasefire in Lebanon

In a post on X, British Ambassador to Lebanon Hamish Cowell said: "The Israeli airstrikes across Lebanon on Wednesday were shocking. We joined the nation yesterday in mourning, with our flag at half mast."

Cowell added, "A sustainable peace in the Middle East needs a ceasefire in Lebanon."
