US Offers Lebanon Guarantees: Beirut Will Not Be Struck Again

Kuwaiti newspaper "Al-Anbaa" reported that Lebanon has been informed by the Americans that Israel will not strike Beirut again due to pressure exerted by Washington, noting that the events of the “Black Wednesday,” described as an Israeli massacre that left hundreds of civilians dead and wounded, prompted international mobilization in support of Lebanon, particularly from Arab countries, France, and the European Union.
