Salam highlights ceasefire, protection of key sites in talks

Information Minister Paul Morcos said Prime Minister Nawaf Salam reviewed the negotiation track during a daily ministerial meeting at the Grand Serail, stressing the importance of a ceasefire and ensuring the continuity and safety of operations at the airport, ports and border crossings, particularly Masnaa, alongside relief and shelter efforts.
Morcos added that Defense Minister Michel Menassa presented the field situation and Israeli attacks, including the destruction of bridges and leveling of frontline villages, as well as the Lebanese-Syrian border situation and intensified patrols in Beirut, especially along the airport road.
He said the death toll has reached 2,124, with 6,921 wounded.
