Berri meets UNHCR’s Barham Salih, PSP delegation

Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri received UN High Commissioner for Refugees Barham Salih, accompanied by Rima Jamous Imseis, Imran Riza, and Carolina Billings, to discuss developments in Lebanon amid ongoing Israeli attacks and UN displacement programs.
Berri also met Taymour Joumblatt, head of the Progressive Socialist Party, with a delegation from the Democratic Gathering bloc, reviewing political and field developments.
Separately, he met General Security chief Hassan Choucair.
Berri also sent a congratulatory message to Iraqi President Nizar Amidi, praising Iraq’s support for Lebanon.
