Watch: The Qasmiyeh Sea Bridge before its reopening

At 5:00 a.m., Lebanese Army vehicles arrived to open the Qasmiyeh Sea Bridge in Tyre, where civilians had been waiting near the bridge since midnight. Traffic began crossing toward the south amid severe congestion.
The Lebanese Armed Forces stated that a specialized unit is working to fully reopen the bridge in coordination with municipalities and civil organizations, following damage caused by an Israeli strike on 16/04/2026. A military unit has also been deployed in the vicinity of the bridge.
