Pope Leo XIV Encourages Ongoing Dialogue and Expresses Hope for Lebanon

Pope Leo XIV said that the ceasefire announced in Lebanon is a source of hope and relief for the Lebanese people and the Middle East, adding: “I encourage those who worked toward a diplomatic solution to continue peace talks so that the end of hostilities across the Middle East becomes lasting.”
