Photo: Appeal to the Presidency and Government to Stop House Demolitions

The head of the municipality of Qantara Municipality, Ali Suleiman Haydar, issued a statement appealing to the Presidency of the Republic, the Prime Minister’s Office, the Lebanese Army Command, as well as international organizations and human rights groups, calling for “urgent and immediate intervention to curb the practices of the Israeli enemy, which consist of blowing up and burning down houses in our dear town.”
