Salam thanks Jordan for relief efforts

Prime Minister Nawaf Salam held a phone call with Jordanian Prime Minister Jaafar Hassan, thanking him for coordinating an international relief campaign and organizing a land bridge to deliver aid to Lebanon, under the directives of King Abdullah II.

The first shipment arrived yesterday following two earlier Jordanian aid convoys transported and escorted by the Jordanian Armed Forces.
