The Israeli army announced that “combat teams from the 401st Brigade, under the command of the 146th Division, discovered an underground route approximately 80 meters long in southern Lebanon, containing several living quarters that were used by Hezbollah operatives. After investigation and the collection of intelligence, the tunnel was destroyed by engineering forces.”
It added: “The Israeli army will continue to operate against threats directed at Israeli civilians and its forces, in accordance with directives from the political leadership.”
