Spokesperson for the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission in the Islamic Consultative Assembly Ebrahim Rezaei, stated that Iran could enrich uranium to up to 90% purity, a level considered suitable for weapons use, if the country is subjected to a new attack.
He wrote on X that “enrichment at 90 percent could be one of Iran’s options in the event of another attack,” adding that this issue would be discussed in parliament.
