Aoun awards Saudi Ambassador Walid Bukhari National Cedar Order

President of the Republic Joseph Aoun received Saudi Ambassador Walid Bukhari in a farewell visit and awarded him the National Order of the Cedar, rank of Grand Officer, in recognition of his role in strengthening and developing Lebanese-Saudi relations across various fields during his tenure in Lebanon.
Aoun praised Bukhari’s contribution to enhancing ties between the two countries and wished him success in his new duties.
For his part, Bukhari thanked the president for the honor and the support he received during his diplomatic mission in Lebanon, expressing hope that Lebanon would regain its vitality and active regional role, and enjoy security, stability and prosperity.
