Fadel Chaker Makes New Statement in Ongoing Case

The hearing in the case of singer Fadel Chaker has ended. The court heard testimony from three former officers of the Lebanese Army.
According to MTV, the three officers who testified unanimously stated that he had no involvement in the Abra clashes and that he acted in good faith.
The former head of intelligence in the South, Brigadier General Ali Shahrour, also told the military court that Fadl Shaker had no connection to the Abra battle. Shaker himself said: “I was threatened and afraid, and I informed the security services of this matter.”
His lawyer, Amata Moubarak, said she had requested the submission of medical reports for him to be examined by a medical committee.
