Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei said on Thursday, in a written message broadcast on state television, that the United States and Israel are seeking to destabilize the Islamic Republic, according to AFP.
Khamenei, who has not appeared in public since assuming office last March, added that "the enemy's blind plan, after the imposed war, economic pressures, and political and media blockade, is based on creating divisions and disintegration to compensate for military defeats and subjugate the nation."
