Israeli Army to Mayor: Evacuate the Town Immediately!

The Israeli army contacted Ali Matar, mayor of Loubieh and head of the Zahrani Municipalities Union, and asked him to evacuate the town’s residents.
Matar told the National News Agency that the contact was direct rather than through electronic means, , which compelled him to issue a statement to alert the town’s residents, especially since there are displaced people from surrounding towns still residing there.
The Israeli army also contacted the Lebanese Civil Defense Center in the town of Sohmor, requesting the evacuation of all residents from Sohmor, without providing any justification.
