Labour Minister heads to Geneva for International Labour Conference

Labour Minister Mohammad Haidar departed for Geneva leading an official delegation to participate in the International Labour Conference organized by the International Labour Organization.
Haidar is expected to address the conference on the impact of ongoing Israeli attacks on Lebanon’s labour market, workers, businesses and economy, while calling for international support and a complete Israeli withdrawal from Lebanese territory.
On the sidelines, he will hold meetings with international officials and labour ministers to discuss cooperation and support for employment and social protection programs in Lebanon.
