Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that Israel will not withdraw from southern Lebanon and will remain there as long as necessary to defend its northern towns, stressing that there are still “missions to be completed” against Hezbollah, Hamas, and Iran.
He added that Israel will take “all necessary measures” to protect residents of northern Israel and will not allow Iran to develop nuclear weapons, while also saying that Israel may achieve peace with some of its enemies, arguing that “the strong remain and there is no place for the weak.”
