Watch: Illegal Tents Removed in Beirut

Beirut Police Regiment and Beirut Police in the Internal Security Forces removed all illegal tents from Ramlet Al Baida, Summerland, and the Fishermen’s Port on the Ramlet area, based on directives from Beirut Governor Judge Marwan Abboud.
Beirut Police Regiment also removed all illegally placed tents from the Tayouneh area to the Chiyah roundabout in both directions and from Beirut Municipality land near the General Security center, after it was found that the occupants of those tents were homeless individuals and not displaced people.
