Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu claimed that some Christian villages in Lebanon had asked to be annexed to Israel in order to be protected from Hezbollah fighters, according to Agence France-Presse.
Speaking to Fox News, Netanyahu said: “Some Christian villages in Lebanon have actually asked to be annexed to Israel because we are protecting their residents from Hezbollah extremists who want to kill them. We are doing the same for Christians everywhere.”
