According to MTV website sources, the Military Court has approved, by majority vote, the release of artist Fadel Chaker.
MTV website sources say Chaker's case file will be sent today to the government's commissioner at the Military Court, Judge Claude Ghanem, who will review it, particularly the medical file, before deciding whether to appeal the ruling or approve his release. Sources indicate the latter is more likely, meaning Chaker could be released within hours.
