Berri: It Seems Saudi Arabia Loves Me More Than Some Lebanese Do

Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri said, "Whoever is loved by Saudi Arabia is loved by the whole world, and it seems the Kingdom loves me more than some Lebanese do."
In an interview with ASAS Media, he reaffirmed his commitment to what he described as Lebanon's "three-way guarantee," saying: "I've always said, and I still do, that Lebanon needs a three-way guarantee comprising Saudi Arabia, the United States, and Iran."
He also stressed the strength of his ties with Saudi Arabia, saying: "My relationship with Saudi Arabia has always been solid. Throughout my political career, I have never uttered a single offensive word about the Kingdom because I believe in its affection for Lebanon, its concern for the country, and its pivotal role in maintaining national stability."
On his relationship with President Joseph Aoun and Prime Minister Nawaf Salam, Berri said: "My relationship with President Aoun is excellent, and my relationship with Prime Minister Salam is enduring."
