Israeli army spokesperson Ella Waweya wrote on X: “Reserve forces from the 55th Brigade’s combat team, under the command of the 91st Division, continue to operate in the town of Majdal Zoun within the security zone to eliminate threats targeting the State of Israel.
“During their operations, the forces found dozens of weapons and military assets inside civilian structures, including Kalashnikov rifles, ammunition magazines, rounds, hand grenades, explosives, improvised explosive devices, anti-tank missiles and mortar shells.
“The forces also destroyed buildings used by Hezbollah.
“The Israel Defense Forces will continue to work to eliminate any threat targeting its forces and will not allow the Hezbollah terrorist organization to harm the citizens of the State of Israel.”
