Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has disclosed details of a meeting he said he held with Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei, although no photos or video footage of the meeting have been released.

According to Iranian media reports, Pezeshkian described the meeting as productive and said it lasted “nearly seven hours,” during which they discussed “all issues facing the country.” He also said Khamenei was in “perfect health and physical condition.”

Pezeshkian said the talks covered problems stemming from sanctions and the government’s position, as well as the need for “support from the people, unity and cohesion.”

He said the main concern raised during the meeting was the country’s economic and social situation, including the market, employment and housing.

According to the Iranian president, Khamenei’s most important advice was to preserve national unity and cohesion, while “avoiding stirring discord and refraining from any words or statements that fall outside these principles.”

The meeting also underscored the need for Iran to speak to the world “with one voice” in order to demonstrate that the country is standing “as one.”

Pezeshkian did not provide details on issues directly related to the war, the memorandum of understanding with the United States, or the ongoing negotiations.
