Nadim Gemayel: We call for an apolitical government whose task would be to hold the elections and adopt a new electoral law

MP Nadim Gemayel called for the formation of an apolitical cabinet whose task would be to adopt a new electoral law and hold the parliamentary polls.

Regarding the electoral law, Gemayel said in a radio interview that the problem consists in the distribution of districts and the allocated rates of proportionality and winner-takes-all system in the hybrid proposal, noting that no party is accepting to make concessions.

Gemayel also praised the Premier-designate Tammam Salam's methodology, expecting to have a satisfying cabinet lineup.
