Kobeissi for a strong government, not subject to foreign dictates

Development and Liberation Bloc Member, Hani Kobeissi, called for a strong government that succumbs not to instructions from the outside.
"We are in need for a national unity government in order to confront Israel, and a government of national consensus for the sake of ceasing all disputes on the Lebanese scene," said Kobeissi.
Deputy Kobeissi's words came during a memorial ceremony held in "Al-Zahraa Husseiniya" in Zkak Blat on Sunday.
"Israel seeks no peace, but rather aims at rendering Lebanon and Palestine a field for its attacks," noted Kobeissi. However, he added that with the help of the resistance movement, a response power became possible.
On the Arab scene, Kobeissi referred to certain convictions that the peace process shall yield a solution. "We, on the other hand, believe in possession of power in the face of Israel, and this ought no to bother anyone," added Kobeissi.
