Al Mustaqbal parliamentary bloc member MP Jamal Al Jarrah said that talks with LF over a hybrid electoral proposal have now reached a final stage, believing that it would be ready before Wednesday's parliamentary session.
Jarrah considered that the hybrid system would guarantee fair representation for Christians as it complies with the coexsitence pact.
Asked about what would happen if the hybrid proposal was not conceived by Wednesday, the lawmaker said that the March 8 forces will be pushing towards adopting the Orthodox proposal, reiterating his bloc's position to boycott the session if the before mentioned draft-law was the sole item on its agenda.
"Our allies are free to choose the option they find best, but our bloc will not partake in the session in this case", he stated.
