Hariri calls for increasing State security presence in Sidon, in precaution against any rising tension

Future bloc member, Bahiya Hariri, urged security officials on Sunday to enhance State security apparatuses' presence in Sidon, as a precaution step against any tension arising in the City.
In this context, Deputy Hariri contacted each of Army Intelligence Director General, Major General Edmond Fadel; Information Branch Head, Colonel Imad Uthman; Army Intelligence Branch Head, Brigadier Ali Shahrour, and ISF South Regional Commander, Brigadier Tarek Abdallah. Hariri reviewed with the aforementioned security officials the general situation prevailing in Sidon, in light of intermittent clashes reported in a number of alleys within the City.
Hariri demanded boosting State security measures in Sidon, in a bid to protect stability and citizens' safety.
