Army warns of schemes to bring back war

The Lebanese Army directorate called on the citizens in Friday's statement to be aware of the incidents which would aim to bring back war.
"Beware of false rumors spread by some political and religious parties," the statement added.
The Army asked the Lebanese to express their political views in a peaceful and democratic manner, away from provocation.
"The Army leadership has worked hard in the recent months to prevent the transformation of Lebanon into a conflict arena, but in the recent days some groups insisted to fuel tension among the Lebanese regarding the developments in Syria," the statement added.
The statement continued that for this reason the Army command started to take decisive security measures in Tripoli, Sidon, Beirut, Bekaa and Mount Lebanon to spare Lebanon the war.
"The Army will pursue perpetrators who have committed Arsal's assassination crime and others," the statement stressed.
