MP Salim Salhab on Thursday pushed for a speedy formation of a political cabinet, especially amid the prevailing security situation.
In radio interview, the MP couldn't help but wonder how some political sides were demanding the exclusion of Hezbollah from the new cabinet formula.
As for the Constitutional Council's failure to convene and make a decision with regard to the extension of the House of Parliament's mandate, the MP's reaction was sheer criticism at the way "the highest judicial authority in the country is handling this matter."
He made clear that the Free Patriotic Movement still favored holding elections on their set constitutional date.
Touching on the swelling influx of Syrian refugees into Lebanon, the MP saw that the sole solution would be the establishment of Syrian refugee camps inside Syrian territories, "to be provided with Lebanon's possible support."
