Aarsal residents: we disown the ambush perpetrators, regardless of their identities

In a statement issued following Aarsal's ambush, in which four people were killed by unidentified gunmen, the residents of Aarsal noted that the attack aims at stirring discordance between them and the surrounding regions, as well as fomenting strife.

"We disown those who killed the four people in Wadi Rafeq, regardless of the identities", the statement said.
