Qahwaji to Assafir: Army will not tolerate security violations

Army Commander General Jean Qahwaji stressed that the military will not tolerate any security violations and will rebuff all attempts aiming to tamper with the country's stability.

In comments published in Assafir newspaper, Qahwaji deemed the ongoing situation as "extremely delicate and difficult", saying that it requires awarness "which imposes on us to cooperate and exert efforts to ease tensions".

Qahwaji also reiterated that the army will “fully carry out its duties to guide the country to safe shores .”
