Liberation and Development parliamentary bloc member, MP Hani Kobeissy, lamented Sunday the faltering of several Lebanese political parties to condemn recent Israeli violations of Lebanese territory as Israeli soldiers "tried to plant a bomb in order to sow discord the country".

"Despite this, several political parties and currents fell silent while they hastened to declare positions on other events taking place on the Lebanese scene," he said.

Kobeissy asserted that Amal movement, including Speaker Nabih Berri, work to revive dialogue in a bid to protect Lebanon during this critical period.

He said that any attempt to prevent the formation of the government and paralyze Parliament represented a serious threat to Lebanon.

Kobeissy called on the Lebanese to focus on the unity of their country.

"The strength of Lebanon lies in the Army-People-Resistance triad, which has confronted the Israeli enemy, ensuring victory and the liberation of Lebanon," he concluded.
