Lavrov, Brahimi discuss means to call for a conference on Syria

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and UN Special Representative on the Syrian crisis Lakhdar Brahimi discussed means to convoke a peace conference during a phone coversation.

"The issues of the Syrian settlement along with the necessity to call together an international conference for this and its purpose of initiating inter-Syrian dialogue have been discussed," the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
