Barely hours after Minister of Defense declared that the Army Intelligence Directorate is close to unveil the identity of the launchers of rockets that target the Southern Dahieh three months ago, the Lebanese Army raided Haret Hreyk to arrest Palestinian national Ahmed Taha allegedly said responsible of launching the rockets.
“The Lebanese army forcefully entered first a shop owned by Taha at Burj al-Barajneh and confiscated CDs and cameras”.
From his house where two women from his relatives live, the Army confiscated 3 computers and iPads, a set of CDs, 8 mobiles, a USB and cameras.
The Army did not issue an official statement and media coverage for the raid was exclusively for two visual media and only one broadcasted the operation. “mtv” knew that the photos broadcasted were controlled by Hezbollah patrols before being diffused on air since the cameras filmed Hezbollah members taking part in the raids.
