Kobeissi: AMAL will no longer remain silent concerning legislative and executive standstill

AMAL Movement MP Hani Kobeissi said Saturday that his party will no longer remain silent in the face of ongoing legislative and executive standstill.

According to the deputy, some parties in Lebanon were betting on a Western or American strike against Syria in order to outline new policies in Lebanon, "a thing that opposed the will and political culture of the resistance."

"They want to go back to the period during which Lebanon was still a weak country. For our part, we say that Lebanon's strength lies in its army, people and resistance," he concluded.
