Sami Gemayel: shall we kidnap Syrian ambassador?

Only minutes after Hezbollah chief Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah speech, Central committee coordinator in Kataeb Party Sami Gemayel delivered a speech focusing on a closed file since longtime ago while Nasrallah doubted the presence of missing Lebanese in Syria’s jail.

Gemayel expressed his happiness that Lebanese of Aazaz were freed but wondered about the photo of ministers at airport standing side by side with judicially wanted persons. “Is it requested by Lebanese to take their right on their own? What if we decide to kidnap Syrian ambassador to make pressure on the state and call to free the kidnapped since finally we will be exempted”.

Gemayel hence addressed the State saying that “we will not abduct the 622 names present in Syria. They are not missing but detained and kidnapped such as Boutros Khawand who was abducted from inside his house and was later seen in Syria’s jails”. “Lebanese state till now did not take any serious measures on Lebanese detained in Syria’s jails”, he confirmed.

Gemayel also commented on rumors over the meeting between Brig. Gen. Abbas Ibrahim and Syrian Brig. Gen. Ali al-Mamlouk by saying: “There is a senior official in the Lebanese State who held meeting with a manhunted by Lebanese Jurisdiction allegedly said he managed to bomb Lebanese”. “Where is the Foreign affairs minister who we didn’t hear about since six months and who, according to Constitution, must be present in any meeting between a Lebanese official and a foreign official?”, he asked.
