President Sleiman, Mikati briefed on implemented measures relating to Tripoli's security plan

President Michel Sleiman met earlier on Tuesday at Baabda palace with outgoing Prime Minister, Najib Mikati, with whom he discussed the latest political and security developments in the country.

Army Commander, General Jean Qahwaji, reportedly briefed both top officials of the measures implemented so far within the framework of Tripoli's security plan.

Separately, Sleiman met with former Ministers Talal Merehbi and Youssef Salameh. Talks reportedly featured high on the current local general situation.
