Bent Jbeil covered in snow as temperature drop

The wave of snow and frost batters Lebanon and ravages most of Lebanese town as of 500 meters above sea levels. The storm is coupled with thick fog and ice covers rendering most of the mountain roads a slippery death trap.

As for Maroun el-Ra’s and its neighboring towns have witnessed a 15-centimeters snow layer, consequently lessening traffic activities in the area.

However, the beautiful frothy layer of white, did not arrive without causing some trouble to the agricultural sector, with major damage to tents in a number of town, low-land floods and power cuts.
