Army says Israeli troops crossed the Blue Line in Mais al-Jabal

Israeli troops crossed the Blue Line in south Lebanon, the Lebanese Army said in a statement on Wednesday.

It added that an eigh-member Israeli unit crossed the Blue Line at 7:22 a.m. in Mais al-Jabal, walked 20 meters into Lebanese territory and retreated nearly an hour later.

The Army and the U.N. Interim Force in Lebanon have consequently deployed in the area, the statement added.
