UAE President suffered a stroke, his health is stable

Emirati Ministry of Presidential Affairs today issued the following statement: "The Ministry announces that President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan suffered a stroke on Friday morning, 24th January, according to WAM news agency.

He immediately underwent a surgical operation. His health is now stable, the agency added.
