Marlboro famed cowboy passes

Following a chronic disease that affected his lungs, Eric Lawson, who portrayed Marlboro’s famed cowboy, died age 72 on January, 10.

Lawson died at his home in San Luis Obispo of respiratory failure due to chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, his wife, Susan Lawson, said on Sunday.

It is worth noting that said actor, had started smoking at the age of 14 and was not able to lay off cigarettes until doctors uncovered his lung decease. Following the diagnostic, Lawson started acting in anti-smoking ads so as to warn against the devastating harm that arise from smoking.
