Day after day, the drone issue acquires more and more prominence as being a critical breach of security in the Keserouan area. Following various investigations, caretaker Minister of Interior and Municipalities Marwan Charbel voiced his concern concerning said breach in an interview to Voice of Lebanon, reiterating the need to deal with the matter in the more serious way, even if it requires setting antiaircraft devices to shoot it down.

The Lebanese Forces on their part were not so quiet concerning the matter, vowing to shoot the drone down in any way possible, particularly following their investigations, which revealed that the drone is an Iranian UAV type, known for detecting and targeting remote targets. The responsibility now lies [exclusively] in the hand of the security forces, to deal with the unacceptable breach, said Zahra.
