Fatfat: Hizbullah used all means to prevent cabinet formation

Future bloc MP Ahmad Fatfat said Thursday that Hizbullah party used all means to prevent cabinet formation starting from 9-9-6 formula, to MP Aoun's obstinacy then the slogan of "waiting" therefore it is clear that Hizbullah is determined to keep PM Najib Mikati's government in office.

The deputy also noted that the party is also intending to reach vacuum at the presidential post, then Mikati's cabinet will lead the political issues where a true complex will be faced.

In an interview with "Akhbar Lyawm" agency, Fatfat said "The waiting process lasted ten months and we are facing consecutive obstacles and it is time to take a decision."

"Hizbullah and its allies want to govern the whole country, as it offered a formal concession through accepting 8-8-8 formula and the ministerial portfolios rotation," Fatfat added.

When asked about the difference between March 8 and March 14, "March 14 have a serious intention to hold the presidential polls, while March 8 are seeking to control the presidency and are intending to not hold the elections on purpose," Fatfat explained.
