Mikati hoped that new cabinet would swiftly garner parliamentary confidence

Former Prime Minister Najib Mikati extended his congratulations to Lebanese people over the formation of the new cabinet hoping that it would bring all good for Lebanon since the political, security and economic challenges are numerous and they require cooperation from all parties in order to protect the country.

Mikati also voiced his hope for positivity in post-formation steps such as garnering the confidence swiftly in the parliament in compensation of the lateness during the formation process.

"I wish PM Tamam Salam all the luck in his endeavors as well as other ministers," Mikati said.
