President Sleiman hopes Great Fast would concur with Christians' unity

President Michel Sleiman voiced hope on Monday that the onset of the fasting period would concur with the unity of all Christian confessions and the whole nation in order to face and defeat threats surrounding the country.

Sleiman early Monday headed to Saint Anthony Monastry in Baabda where he attended a mass marking the start of Christian fasting.

The president discussed latest developments with the Army Commander General Jean Qahwaji.

Amongst Baabda's visitors had been State Security Director, General Jean Qaraa, and others.
