Abdullah Azzam Brigades Addressing Hizbullah: You Shot Yourselves in the Foot

Al-Qaeda linked Abdullah Azzam Brigades vowed Tuesday that Hizbullah shall not enjoy peace and serenity as long as its involvement in Syria's fighting was not brought to an end, adding that the Shiite Party shot itself in the foot when it had decided to take part in the neighboring conflict.
On his Twitter feed, Sheikh Sirajeddine Zoureikat, the group’s religious guide, commented on the two bombings that had rattled Lebanon lately, saying that Hizbullah is overlooking its attacks on the Sunnis in Lebanon and Syria, prompting them to backfire.
"Hizbullah's battle is no longer limited to us alone, but it extended to reach all Sunnis in Syria and Lebanon," he said.
The Sunni Sheikh stressed that the latest bombings indicate that Hizbullah's war is not against Tafkiri groups, as the party is claiming, pointing out that the Sunnis have kicked off their battle aiming to defend themselves.
The cleric addressed the party as saying that the attack that targeted General Security Chief, Maj. Gen. Abbas Ibrahim, in Dahr al-Baydar, as well as the suicide bombing that rattled Beirut's southern suburb, both prove that "you [the party] will not find a safe haven in Lebanon until security and safety are restored in Syria and Lebanon."
