Mikati, Shaar call for justice to prevail

Former Prime Minister Najib Mikati reiterated Thursday support for the Lebanese security forces and army, voicing hope that the judiciary would fulfill its role by uncovering the wrongdoers and acquitting those proven innocent.

Mikati's statement came following his meeting with Mufti of Tripoli and North Malek al-Shaar who stressed that the northern city shall no longer tolerate security unrest, urging all faction to exercise restraint and demand officials to forge justice so that none of the detainees would feel aggrieved and oppressed.
