Gemayel to Iraqi refugees: We know best the perils of displacement

Lebanese Kataeb party MP Samy Gemayel voiced Friday support to the Iraqi people, noting that the party will continue to offer them assistance until their safe return to their homeland is achieved.

"We, more than anyone else, know the meaning and perils entailed by displacement, for we lived this experience during the Lebanese war," Gemayel said.

Dozens of Iraqi families flocked to the premises of Kataeb party's north Metn district where they were granted food rations in presence of Gemayel.
