Hezbollah seeks to reactivate the Resistance Brigades

Hezbollah is seeking to recruit fighters from all sects so as to reactivate the Resistance Brigades in northern and western Bekaa, Annahar newspaper reported on Wednesday.

According to the report , the recruited individuals are being directly trained by the Iranian Revolutionary Guards while being offered a salary ranging between $1,500 and $2,500.

The newspaper reported that the fighters haven't yet been dispatched to Syria but are instead being trained so as to confront extremist organizations that may emerge in Lebanon.

The report continued that a number of Christian fighters requested to join the Resistance Brigades.
