Qahwaji to al-Mustaqbal: Tripoli embraces the Army, the state and moderation

Lebanese Army Commander Jean Qahwaji stated that Tripoli is a city that embraces the military institution, the state and moderation, hailing the residents’ cooperation with the Army during its fight against extremist terrorists.

In remarks published in al-Mustaqbal newspaper Thursday, Qahwaji noted that the military institution had set an obvious plan with several options regarding fighting locations, adding that , however, the Army wasn’t targeted from any neighborhoods that were not involved in the clashes, which proves Tripoli to be a home for the military and the state.
